General Can't access 1.16.3 version

My latest version says fabric-loader-0.9.2+build.206-1.16.2. I installed instance of 0.9.3+build.207-1.16.3 and I keep getting message "Sorry, unable to start Minecraft. please check your configuration." It's like i'm trying to access a version that hasn't been released yet. In versions folder I see fabric-loader-0.9.3+build.207-1.16.3 and fabric-loader-0.9.2+build.206-1.16.2 but not straight out 1.16.3, like I do of all of the previous regular versions.

Have you tried just starting the pure 1.16.3 without fabric?

it's not an option. i have tried to install a new instance of just pure 1.16.3 and it is not on the list. every version and snapshot before it is there, just not that one. I think I downloaded stuff in the right order, but tried to install it before bringing up the pure version. that may have replace the pure 1.16.3 as being the latest release.

I may just have to rename my .minecraft folder and install clean. then maybe i can bring over everything from 1.16 versions.

I think the loader lets you create a new version, just enter 1.16.3, and it should work.

When I try to create a new instance, it lets me name it whatever I want, but on the release pull down menu, 1.16.3 is not an option.

Think you have to launch the vanilla 1.16.3 loader first, so it downloads the version update.
