The large public wool farm south of spawn has been "fixed" and should be able to be used again.
It seems the sheep pens require a large quantity of sheep to work (they push each other along and up the ladder). I suspect the new MaxEntityCramming setting that was introduced in 1.11 caused some of the sheep to die which stopped it working.
If anyone finds any part of it not working again, let me know and I can have another look. Be careful if you attempt a fix, it's very easy to let the sheep out and it will be almost impossible to get them back in again.
Be warned though, the area has about 1000 entities in it, so if you have a less powerful computer you may lag quite a bit when in the area.
