Our third and IMHO the best dog breed.
You'd be amazed at the things he can do I tell ya, he's a frickin genius.
They do look incredibly intelligent! A beautiful animal indeed. A friend has several Caucasian Shepherd dogs (Ovcharka), which are huge (small children can ride on them) affable beasts who also like to work and be sociable. We are primarily cat people as we don't have the time to give to a dog, but I can now add your Kodi to the list of dog breeds I like 8)

Fr. Fitzgerald Finnegan just fit him. We don't name animals right away (or our son for that matter) - after 2 days with him, he looked at me intently and the name came into my head.

This might just be the best photo of my dogs. The big headed brown-eye in the left corner is Timi, the white-brown one is Helmi, and the smallest of them is Cindy.
They are beautiful, I love collies ( left and bottom look a bit like one but I'm no expert!). When i was a kid I used to work for the summer on an Uncles farm up on the wild Yorkshire moors, spent hours with his sheep dogs finding lost sheep, wonderful intelligent dogs, when I was lost, they knew the way home 8)

I grew up with a golden retriever, she was amazing. She was the soppiest thing but never hesitated to protect me if I needed it.
