COVID-19 Memorial
Back in 2020 I had the crazy idea to make a COVID-19 Memorial in Minecraft. Many of you helped make it possible, thank you. Extra huge thank you to LikLikSnek for her amazing design for the main structure and to Avril for many hours of brainstorming ideas with me.

After many delays, I have finally finished the Memorial and would like to invite all of you to visit it on the HangOut MC server.

HangOut MC
For a few years now Avril and I have not had the bandwidth to do much with the server. And it shows. Activity on the server and applications have both dwindled to almost nothing.

But HangOut MC means a lot to me and I hate the thought of it closing.

I am writing to see if anyone is interested in helping with things that might help the server pick back up, such as recruiting new members and arranging community events.

We are going to keep the server open at least through the end of the year. If nothing changes by then, we will probably decide to close the server.

Thanks for this post and update Tig. What a lovely, lovely idea and congratulations on finishing this project. I will log in and take a look!

I too hate the thought of this server closing - Hangout has meant a lot to me over the years. My attention span and bandwidth for MC comes and goes - and it's mostly been gone for the past long long while. But I miss the lovely folks on here.

I'm unable to commit to much but I would love to participate if there is some sort of rebirth.
