The amount Barry posts is the month’s total receipts. The costs are paid automatically by us throughout the month/year.

Yea - you have to pay for quality- and we definitely have a great server.
There are plenty of cheaper ways of doing it, but we lose a lot. Also, it's a big world now and growing. Our backups, which are really only retained for 3 or 4 days are using about 200GB.
So if the donations drop off, there are ways to save money, but we'd have to make some sacrifices.

I like the graph, it should give players a sense of the financial reality of server costs. If we are running low near month's end, perhaps it will encourage contributions.
Yup, I said a visual would be needed, works well at a site I sysop. 
@SairFecht I noticed that when selecting Paypal as payment source, despite not having recurring selected it sets up as recurring when logged into PP - PP calls it a subscription, with seemingly no way to change to one-off. Or it's another senior moment 8)
I backed out at that point having had trouble with PP subs before ( multiple debits).

I'm not going crazy, then? It did the same for me. Set it up as recurring when I hadn't selected it. I don't mind, I want to donate, but probably needs looking into!
