I also made a kelp farm, but my setup is much simpler. I have a faster timer than yellow, but I think I have more plants. I have 84 plants in 12 tanks, all harvested roughly once every 5 minutes. The plants grow slowly, but in case the timer breaks, I have made room for the plants to grow. The harvested kelp is moved to 5 collection dbl chests, where I manually feed them into my oven array.
From the top. The floating kelp is moved by waterstreams to the collection chests.
And as seen from the buttom, to get a feel for the height.
My timer is an old design, but it breaks every now and then, so I'll replace it soon.
My 48 oven array makes drying the kelp easy - and fast!
I'll post some images of the slimefarm, cowfarm, flushing farms and the storage room when I get the last details finished. I usually build on 3-5 things at the same time, so I don't have a lot of finished stuff - yet.
