Last Few Days Mia ( @Taimimimi ) has been Renovating spawn on vannila and thought we could have a discussion here regarding things she needs and things that could be donated etc there is also a mostly lit up circle round Spawn now feel free to expand out to feel less cramped

also due to people living somewhat close to spawn portals due to the hub being super high up arent linking great would any one be super agaisnt moving the nether hub to a lower elevation ?

what I need for spawn:
sandstone
grassblocks
coarse dirt
lightblocks like sealanterns and /or glowstone
decoration for the market place (a few pumpkins, melons, hay bales)
WOOOOD (birch and every other type)
Wool & carpets

I build a couple of ready to go market stalls and shops for everyone who does not wanna buils a shop.
just put your name on it the small markets stalls are perfect if you dont sell so many different items or if you want a temporary shop to sell the goods of your latest adventure to the end. feel free to add barrels or chest around the shop u choose to expand it a bit and to make the market look more busy and vibrant.

Question: Does moving the nether hub to lower location mean we will all need to move our tunnels/portals to same lower level?

It would mean a little alteration height wise as for the most part the cords are correct just at the REALLY high level and some people closer to spawn are connecting to the wrong portals due to the math being slightly closer due to the height im Super bad at explaining the math but the first hub was a project i started early on and im so happy to undertake the work of building a lower hub if people are ok with that and once finished people can connect up to it? you could keep old tunnles just add a stair up to old ones?
