General Portal Connections

I found this portal calculator for those who wish to join there new portals to the nether.

Just thought I would share it to help others out that don't know to do it.
And for the rest of us who maybe lazy in that area

just want to highlight what it says at the bottom of that page

Note: If more than one overworld portal have the same netherside coordinate, the netherside Y elevation comes into effect....

I think this stands even if more that one overworld portal has close to the same netherside coordinate, so if you are having trouble linking up and you are sure you have the X/Z correct, check the Y as well

Yep. In an ideal world Y should always be right, or as close as possible. If it's too far out all sorts of cross-over issues can arise when you have portals relatively close to each other. If you're the only one for 1000 blocks, don't worry about it (until someone moves in near by and you have to rebuild your portal room).

thats the reason i am lowering the hub on Vannila, lots of people living close to spawn and a SUPER high nether cord for the hub causing to many clashes as the height means a different portal works out closer so whilst it takes u one way doesnt return to same portal
