The farm is open to the public and is producing fairly well. It will improve once the villager count is increased.

It is located about half way down the nether tunnel to the Shroom Isle and I have built a secure (no pigmen on the track) rail line to the farm portal. The portal in in the farm room and the AFK area is on the backside of the farm where the chest is.

There is also a door that leads to the maintenance, village, and the cave/mine areas. There is a rail line in the village that leads to another village that I'm working on to make a breeding village. I still don't have the auto transfer of villager from cart to corral finished. Guess that is my next project.

edit- I got a few stacks, seems to be one yield every 2-5 minutes or so. Is that correct?

Before you spend much time AFK there. make sure that golems are spawning. I was AFK there last night for 10 hours and nothing came through. I notified Barry via PM, but don\'t know what is going on. Nothing else seems to have changed.
 
They are almost always around in the cave outside the room. Never effected production before.

I almost have the transfer system finished to bring in villagers from the villager farm, so I\'ll start building up the villager count soon, and see if that makes a difference.

IMO there is something wrong with the server and it needs to be restarted.
 
Just been over to the iron farm and there was a golum wandering around the village. I killed him. If he has been there all the time it would stop any new ones spawning.

I had a problem on SG5 with the odd one spawning outside of where it should.
 
I think I\'ll tear down all the structures to remove hiding places.

I finally have the village transport system working, and a supply of villagers is building. I hope to transfer a bunch tomorrow morning.
 
The village breeder is going gangbusters since I got a farmer in there. AFKed over night and had more than 50 villagers captive and running around the compound (the captives are spawning little ones that can escape from the holding area). I transferred 25 villagers to the iron farm and did a test, it is getting about 36 bars an hour.
 
Never mind, just discovered that a baby zombie killed all the villagers at the iron farm while I was AFK, it\'s back to hauling villagers...

It might have gotten in through the rail entrance, There is a fence post to keep out adults, but the little bastards can walk right through.

Guess I\'ll encase the whole rail platform in glass...
 
During zombie siege spawning mechanics are different and only minimal conditions are checked. Zombies can be even spawned inside halfslabs.

I was using this type of villager booth to prevent zombies from reaching villagers.

Thanks, I\'ll see if all I\'ve done prevents another occurrence.

I think I have finally gotten the villager transport so that I just have to sit in a cart. I\'ll do a video of the cycle once I\'m sure it is working all the time.
